Concept Note
India’s arid and semi-arid climatic zones are traditionally heat-stressed. These are getting impacted the most due to changing climatic conditions. This program focuses on developing a holistic understanding for enhancing the resilience of the built environment by exploring the various linkages between built structures, natural resources, socioeconomic conditions, technology, traditional knowledge practices, cultural capital, and community. Through the learnings from the field experience, the participants would be able to highlight the role of a built and unbuilt environment. This will help address the challenges of Pandemic and Climate Change in various urban and peri-urban areas for enhancing Jodhpur city’s resilience.
